Paratissima Eye Contact 2023
Simone Giai won the Talent Prize and the Communication Prize during the 2023 edition of Paratissima (Turin), where he exhibited in the collective show ‘’Stand by-The time of waiting’’ curated by Gaia Ferrini.
The pop colours that make up the triptych on show conceal the use of both artificial and natural raw materials, as well as the cyanotype technique, employed in an unusual way. It requires a precise exposure and fixing time that determine the result. Waiting is therefore the essential part of the process.
